The Hawaiian archipelago extends for more than 1500 miles and is made up of 8 major islands, as well as numerous atolls and islets. Each major island is a unique adventure, each with its own distinct personality, adventures, activities and sights.

Oahu

Home to the Hawaiian capital of Honolulu, O’ahu is also where the majority of Hawaii’s population resides. Here you’ll find famous attractions and landmarks Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, the site of a dead volcano, as well as a variety of museums and cultural attractions. Here guests can visit Pearl Harbor or explore the Dole pineapple plantation, or learn about the history of Hawaiian royalty at Iolani Palace. O’ahu also offers great outdoor experiences such as surfing, snorkeling, golf, and hiking.

Kauai

The beautiful garden isle of Hawai’i, Kaua’i is known for its natural wonders – everything from beautiful coastline, to enchanting rivers and waterfalls, to tropical gardens, to colorful mountains and canyons. Kaua’i is perfect for those looking for plenty of outdoor activities and nature exploration, and is especially suited to tours by boat and by air, as the majority of the island is not accessible by car. The island also boasts wonderful small town charm for those looking for a relaxed vibe away from city life and with plenty of nature to explore.

Island of Hawaii

Also known as ‘the Big Island’, Hawaii is the largest of the islands, and offers a surprisingly diverse climate and geography, with everything from lava fields to sand beaches to cattle ranches. Hawaii is home to the famed Volcanoes National Park,  where guests can observe the Kilauea and Mauna Loa active volcanoes. The island’s east and west coasts are two different experiences, with one featuring Volcanoes National Park along with lush gardens and waterfalls, and the other featuring a lively resort area with museums, galleries, and parks.

Maui

Offering a combination of beachfront resorts, country towns, and lush rainforests, Maui includes plenty of variety for visitors looking for a bit of everything. Check out historic sites and charming mom and pop stores and restaurants in Central Maui, or drive the Hana Highway as it snakes along the northern coast to Eastern Maui, where you’ll find rainforests, waterfalls, and seaside cliffs.

Lanai and Molokai

These two islands are smaller, less inhabited, and more remote than the main four, but are still accessible to visitors and offer attractions for those looking for something off the beaten path. Lana’i offers luxurious resorts with championship-level golf, contrasted with rugged valleys and coastlines. Moloka’i, which is only 10 miles across at its widest, is home to white sand beaches and cliffs with incredible sea views, a destination for those truly looking to get off the beaten path.
