I’m heading to St. Lucia!

Next week, I will be hosting an event live from Sandals Grande St. Lucian.  More about that later, but I thought I’d give you a quick insight into what you need to do to travel to St. Lucia (and most of the other Caribbean islands) right now.

Preparation was pretty easy. I just needed to get a negative COVID PCR test within 7 days of my arrival.  I got my results back today and I am good to go!

It was an easy process, if a tad unpleasant. I went to Patient First since they have appointments available for those who need a test for international travel.  The whole process took about 20 minutes and there was no cost to me since I have insurance.

Now, I just need to upload these results on the St. Lucia website within three days of arrival and print out the travel authorization I will receive after that. I take the authorization and the test results with me to the airport and I am good to go. The warm tropical sun and cool fruity drinks await!

Once I arrive, I will need to make arrangements to have my return test done.  As of January 26th, the CDC is requiring all passengers entering the United States from a foreign country to present a negative COVID test taken within 3 calendar days of boarding their flight.

Sandals (and many other resort chains) is offering these tests right on property for free. I will just do a quick nasal swab and I will be ready to head home. Since my trip is a short one — just three days — I will need to test shortly after I arrive.  If you are taking a longer trip, the staff will set an appointment for you that complies with the 3-day time frame.

That’s it.

It’s actually really easy and convenient to comply with the requirements and, for most people, there is no cost on either end.

Now, let me tell you about this incredible LIVE event!

For two days, January 25 and 26, I will be broadcasting live from Sandals Grande St. Lucian!

If you want to see what it’s really like to be on resort now, you will want to tune in. The schedule of broadcasts is below.

Plus, anyone who attends the final VIP Experience on Tuesday, January 26th, will receive a free gift valued at $250 on their next Sandals or Beaches vacation right through the end of 2022!

We are, of course, still offering a 10% discount to all firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military (active and veteran), and Department of Defense employees in addition to all other discounts and perks!

If you don’t want to miss out, sign up for reminders here. I promise I won’t spam you to death. Just a few, quick reminders.

I hope to see you in St. Lucia!
