While the decision to travel at this time is an extremely personal one, many Americans are ready to go! Travel is starting to reopen around the world and it's exciting to think about exploring again. However, many countries are not reopening to American tourists due to the surge in infection here.
The travel landscape is changing daily and it can be really difficult for those who are ready to travel to know where they can even go.
Here's an updated list, as of today, of countries that are currently accepting American tourists:
Albania
Antigua and Barbuda
Aruba
Barbados
Bermuda
Croatia
Dominican Republic
French Polynesia (Tahiti & Bora Bora)
Jamaica
Maldives
Mexico
North Macedonia
Rwanda
Serbia
St. Barths
St Lucia
St. Vincent and The Grenadines
Tanzania
Turkey
Turks and Caicos
UAE (Dubai)
US Virgin Islands
Several more countries will be opening to US travelers in the coming weeks so, if your favorite travel destination isn't on the list, shoot me an email at christine@moderntravelpros.com and I can check to see when it's reopening.
The good news is that there are some killer deals out there for travel in 2020.
Plus, there is unprecedented flexibility with resorts and airlines so, if you book a trip and end up not being able to go (or not want to go), we can just move your dates!
If you're interested, email me and let's get your next trip on the books!
Stay well.
